A man walking along a California beach was deep in prayer. All of a
sudden, he said out loud, "Lord grant me one wish." Suddenly the sky
clouded above his head and in a booming voice the Lord said, "Because
you have TRIED to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you
one wish."
The man said, "Build a bridge to Hawaii, so I can drive over anytime
I want."
The Lord said, "Your request is very materialistic. Think of the
enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking. The supports required
to reach the bottom of the Pacific! The concrete and steel it would
take! I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for
worldly things. Take a little more time and think of another wish,
a wish you think would honor and glorify me."
The man thought about it for a long time. Finally he said, "Lord, I
wish that I could understand women. I want to know how they feel inside,
what they are thinking when they give me the silent treatment, why
they cry, what they mean when they say 'nothing', and how I can
make a woman truly happy."
The Lord replied, "You want two lanes or four on that bridge?"

Start blogging now!
Hi all,
I am so happy to see your active participation. I hope this blog will become more fun in the forthcoming days. Just to let you know, this blog is a very private initiative and has nothing to do with VWR. It will not reflect any official information. Soon, we will form a set of do's and dont's for this blog. So that, we will not end up into trouble at any circumstances.
And very important is, only people who started to work with VWR, Coimbatore on May 30th 2007 will have access to this blog irrespective of their continuation with VWR. So, please invite whoemever are still in contact with you to join this blog and share their views.
From now on, you all can post your views and comments, pictures and so on.
On 30th May 2009, we will make this blog available for public view. By then there could be a lot of stuff!

Spearheads!
Hi all,
As usual, girls spearheads in this too. I am happy to invite Sumana and Deebasree. Again, the idea is to bring all of us together via this blog. The company had seen significant growth and great geographical expansion since we joined. Unfortunately, we were dislocated from where we were in the begining days. I do remember the days we were all together with lots of noise and poise. And I hope this initiative would open windows for togetherness again. Guys, come on! The blog is waiting for you too.
